I'm trying to copy an .icc profile from my home directory to the Adobe Icc Profiles/RGB Profiles directory. I su in the console then cp -t /home/my directory/file directory/file.icc/ /usr/share/color/icc/Adobe_ICC_Profiles/RGB_Profiles/.
The result is that the .icc file does not exist. What am I doing incorrectly? How do I need to write the command?
Remove the slash after file.icc aqnd if the . is part of your cp command, remove that to. If the source directory have spaces in it, you need to escape them. In other words;
cp -t /home/my\ directory/file.icc directory/file.icc /usr/share/color/icc/Adobe_ICC_Profiles/RGB_Profiles/

I'm still getting the same thing. Here's something interesting. When I hover over the file and the file info pops up it says file type: unknown. Could this be a problem? If so, then how do I fix it?
