Well, let's put it this way:
If I read a message, and then go on to the next message by hitting the X in the top right corner, nothing is saved on screen. If I save a message, and then go on to another message by hitting the X, I still go to the next message, but the one that I saved to a directory is still on screen behind the new message. This is dumb, and should be fixed. Sure I can de-picture it, but why should I have to? I have, after all, saved it. Why is it still on screen behind the KMail window?
You've really got to be more clear about what actions you're taking and what undesirable results ensue. No one I know uses the term "de-picture," e.g. And while I suspect I know what you mean by "hit the X," you really should talk about the logical action, namely, closing a window. It's not clear whether you're seeing graphical artifacts ("still on screen behind the new message") or application behavior (a window that is not closed when, say, you delete the message it was displaying). And as I said, it's a bit odd that deleting a message in KMail does not cause a separate window displaying that message to be closed, it's a minor oddity, I'd say. And again, saving a message (to a file?) does not delete the message from the mailbox, nor should it!
