Rekall Try to open a table or view or even properties thereof, and it crashes. This is on Suse 10.2 with its Rekall from the dvdk.
Knode Cannot even do find/replace on fields, Menu items are there, but they don't work. ditto for OOoBase.
PgAdmin Cannot do find/replace. The latest version has the menu options for that, but it does not work. Apparently Wxwidgets that is based on is broken. Cannot do lower case to upper case conversions that I could find without taking a course in SQL.
Even Access has problems with ODBC, or maybe it is Windows. Open the postgres database on localhost using Access with ODBC and do the find/replace query, the convert 3 fields to uppercase. Close out Access, Change ODBC setup to look at remote host database. Open Access. It is still looking at the localhost database eventhough ODBC is pointing to remote host. Close Access, reboot WinXP (running under Parallels), then open Access again. Now it is finally looking at the correct database. Does not say much for Microsoft interoperability and they supposedly invented ODBC.

I asked similar question about frontends for MSSQL. This is the thread in the archives, see if some of the proposed products will help you: http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse/2006-11/msg03475.html
