[opensuse] ports powered after shutdown

I have recently upgraded my kernel to 2.6.20-20070216143046-default. When I
shut down my PC the light on my mouse stays on, and also the LED on my USB
webcam stays on. This does not happen with 2.6.18.2-34-default which I still
have, and didn't happen with 2.6.20 rc6 either, which I upgraded from. Does
anyone have an idea on how to get those lights turn off when shutting down?
My motherboard is an Asus M2N-E, mouse is a MS optical one plugged into a PS/2
port with an adapter, webcam is a Logitech QuickCam Pro 4000.
Googling around I only found forum msgs referriing to BIOS settings but since
my issue depends on kernel version (without making any changes in the BIOS
setup), I don't think those are relevant. BTW all "wake up on event x"
settings are off on my PC.
