I've always had a suspicion that the folks responsible for the decision
to buy Ximian and get nothing for the money decided to pretend it
was a good decision by hyping the Ximian update technology as the
wave of the future, and ever since then they have been trying to
wedge the square peg into the round hole to justify their original
mistake :-).
