Well, not _totally_ ignoring me - I can shutdown / restart it just fine using the service command... But any rug command like 'rug ping' or 'rug sl' hangs... and remains that way.
zen-updater only displays 'Loading services / catalogs / preferences' and 'Getting update list' messages.
This has been happening to me for a few hours now. I tried rebooting the system, no luck. I only have 5 or 6 services added, mostly HTTP mirrors with good bandwidth. I use SUSE 10.1 x86.
I know this is not helpful, but that's why "I" started ignoring ZMD, if you can, please tryout Smart.

I really didn't have a lot of problems with it so far - well, after I changed all my repos to use HTTP instead of FTP that is ;) To add a bit more info, what's changed since yesterday is the Mono version, as I updated to 1.2.3 - using ZMD no less. The zmd-messages log file appears to indicate that it's running normally; after a service restart, it adds the services and refreshes their status. But I can't talk to it via rug or zen-updater.
