I googled, and I found some old thread about 9.3, but it does not look like helpful, as it says to modify the inet_interfaces in main.cf. But in mine all inet_interfaces are commented out, and according to the comments this mean all interfaces will be used.
The only place I see "::1" is in my /etc/hosts file, where after that are listed licalhost, my short host name, and my extended hostname (incl. the domain).
I also has the 127.0.0.1 line with the same.
How do I fix all this?
Did you disable IPV6 on your installation (maybe during setup of the network?) If so, then I would remove the entry in the /etc/hosts file referring to the localhost ::1 The error seems like you don't have a V6-localhost interface... so that might do it then.
