What raid controller are you using? I have a system that has a raid 10
with 4 drivers. It works really well. I can boot to XP or OpenSUSE 10.2.
It has 4 entries.
(fd0) /dev/fd0
(hd0) /dev/sda
(hd1) /dev/sdb
(hd2) /dev/sdc
So yes, I think there is something wrong with it.
