Charles,
I forgat to add this step to my previous post:
While in your shell as superuser, take a moment to confirm and/or adjust for kernel version/numbers, as follows:
cd to /boot
Look for links like these (wrapped here):
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 26 2007-01-01 22:50 initrd -> initrd-2.6.18.2-34-default
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 27 2007-01-01 22:24 vmlinuz -> vmlinuz-2.6.18.2-34-default
If your version/numbers are different, fix menu.lst accordingly.
Carl
Carl shouldn't he make sure that his fstab lines are all one line beginning with "/dev/".... and ending with ...."0 0"? e.g. (From the post as I received it) /dev/sda1 /windows/D ntfs ro,users,gid=users,umask=0002,nls=utf8 0 0 is actually all one line -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
