Use beryl-manager to switch to kwin when playing videos.

Well when I was using simply KDE, my vids were fine, under

Turn off all KDE's shadow and animation effects from kcontrol, you
will have to dig a bit in there.

Yes, if you use compiz and kde-window-decorator too, but not without
