Yes, if you use compiz and kde-window-decorator too, but not without

So I got XGL working with Beryl and Compiz. I am using Beryl by default and my
videos in kaffeine and xine, well vids in general. They are very laggy and it
slows down my cursor.

Well when I was using simply KDE, my vids were fine, under
Beryl, slows down. Kaffeine will only operate in opengl move. Also, I have
irritating borders around every menu and window. How do I turn it off?

Is it
possible to get the full XGl/Compiz effect without Beryl or Emerald. By effects I
mean the 3D cube and ability to rotate and also the 3D Desk that causes the
windows to appear 3D? Thanks all.
