Hello all-
I've been away from the list for a bit, but I'm having an issue with a new device I picked up.
The device is the Instant Music from ADS Tech. It basically has RCA inputs and a USB hookup so you can 'rip' from any deivce with RCA outputs (record player, tape player, etc).
Brian - A few hours before your message, I ordered a "PlusDeck 2 cassette deck for PC" in order to convert my collection of cassettes to digital format. The specs say that it comes with "20-pin cable, Mic in, Line in, Speaker Out cables, Serial cable." No USB. I assumed that, in order to use the PlusDeck, I would have to reboot into Windows.
Hi Kelly- Good luck with your device. I don't have the option of 'rebooting into windows', I don't run windows. The last major app I ran under wine was ported to Linux, so I don't even use wine that often. I could always plug it into the wife's computer, but the goal is to get this to work under 10.2. It just seems so close with most of it being recognized, just not as an input device. :( brian -- Brian Jackson Photo Sports ~ People ~ Events http://www.BrianJacksonPhoto.com -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
