Hi, I have a French layed out keyboard, but make an english domU Debian installation. I have to provide some things manually, such as hostname and passwords. The problem is the keyboard is completely messed up: in the VM SDL Window, it becomes a kind of "qwerty-mixed-with-anything" layout.
Oh yeah, that keyboard stuff is a mess ...
I've hacked up my own vnc client which can send us keystrokes to the
other end no matter what the local keyboard mapping is. It comes with
the xenwatch package, available from
http://software.opensuse.org/download/home:/kraxel/openSUSE_10.2/
Works fine for me ;)
