Thank you very much. zypper on my host hangs there forever (probably because of slow network), 3 hour later I had to kill it. Then start "yast2 sw_single" and I can find pwman3 package avaiable, and then I click and installed it;)
Here is the console output before zapper hangs, just in case someone might wish to take a look.

If you dont enter y or n here, zypper hangs, known bug, see
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=232250 .. you MUST enter y or n :)
unfortunately my pwman3 package compiles, install, but does not work in 10.2, seems python-sqlite2 module in the buildservice is too old, and the (now built-in) sqlite3 python 2.5 module is completely broken see :

:(
Yes, I can confirm the pwman3 on my host die with this message: zhangweiwu@joe:~> pwman3 Error: You can only execute one statement at a time. I don't particularly like pwman3's idea. pwman was written in C and store password in a file, now pwman3 come with a lot of dependencies and who would have 1000+ password to manage that they need a SQL database, and what relational data is there in a password database? Emm, I don't understand. Perhaps pwman3 is only written because the author wish to try sqlite3 and get a hand on Python. People use console applications because they are simple, now they ain't anymore. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
