In my case, SuSE 10.1, I can put a dvd in the drive and a small window
pops up asking what I want to do. If I access the drive from there
everything works just fine, BUT if I go to Konqueror and look for the
drive in /media all I see is the floppy drive. In 10.0 I used to find
all the permanent drives and the temps when they were plugged in.
