I have the same chipset in my laptop. Since 10.1 and maybe some update

on 10.2 (can't be sure) my microphone no longer works. I also noticed that
sound output volume was quite low compared to XP. I d/l the latest alsa
driver from the alsa site and the sound volume issue is now gone but I am
still left with no microphone.
