Well, lspci indicates that it is an atheros based card 5212 chipset,
on the card it is an atheros chipset.
If I use knetwork manager to configure it asks for the wep key and
tells me that it is connected and the little knetworkmanager icon
changes to a signal meter.
It scans my ap and just now after a reboot it picked up another cell
in my neighborhood.
It is like the system is not going through the belkin card.
