The SUSE Thunderbird version contains that feature since version 1.5.0.7!

Please note that this feature is not ported to the Thunderbird 2pre
versions in the buildservice yet nor are they included in non-SUSE
versions of Thunderbird.
It's also not included in SeaMonkey yet.
