It's pretty clear from the error message that libpng is rejecting ("wrong
image width") the icon image files. From your earlier post:

Can't you work back through the process chain with ldd to confirm the correct
libraries are linked all the way through?
If that doesn't get you anywhere, I've seen plenty of threads via Google
ending with "reinstalled KDE and the problem went away". I know... blunt
force... but I've run out of suggestions.
