Simply, in text mode, edit this line in the file "/etc/X11/xorg.conf":

Section "Device"
        Identifier      "Device[nvidia]"
        Driver          "nvidia"

...

Change with:

        Driver          "nv"

and start X with "startx" in the user's command line. That should work.
