"Microsoft chairman Bill Gates said today that the software giant will
invest $150 million in Apple and will develop and ship future versions of
its Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, and development tools for the
Macintosh."
That was in 1997 and Apple's stock price increased over 10x since then.
