[opensuse] Unable to Launch Smart from KSmartTray

I have SMART running - 0.5 rc1 - and the KSmarttray. The tray icon tells me I have pending updates. However, the past several days, when i go to launch smart or do the update from the tray, I get nothing. No errors or dialogs. I can still launch smart from the System Menu, but the updates don't seem to take effect.
