I use Insightbb for internet. I must say they have been horrible. I pay six dollors a month for a static IP address (or sticky IP address as they call it) and it still changes. I know several other people and business' who use Insightbb and pay for the "sticky" IP and have the same problem. I don't see how an ISP can screw that up so often.

Now that you found your answer, maybe you won't have a DSL provider like Sprint, now Embarq, who uses Redback servers which won't automatically renew the IP when it is released by the client. At that point one has to call DSL tech support and suffer through the first-tier dumbass to actually get the service restored or you can wait a few hours to see if it does it on its own. Oh, yeah, they are the only broadband provider available. Once I learned what not to do, I never try to reset the dhcp. Not to them, anyway. ----------------------------------------------------------------- ---- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
