Thank you, works flawlessly! Starting from the linked page I got to
http://de.gentoo-wiki.com/RealPlayer_10_Gold for exact instructions,
where I'll be able to download codecs of version 8 (or even better 9!)
and how to install them.
Takes maybe one single minute, but worth to do it...
