For coding, we should simply ignore them.
Patents are an purely political issue. At least in .eu we have
to stop the a-holes at EC/EP to legalize software patents and
the whole it branch into the hands of the parasite industry.

(BTW: this is one of the really bad things going on in EU which 
turned me from EU favourist to nationalist ... seems the EU 
shall combine buerocratic insanity with millitary force as basis
for worldwide monopolistic super-companies, short: officer facism)
