nope, desktop.
Ok... have you looked at the power mgmt settings?
(why do I feel I am having to pick your brains for info?)
I don't know. From the first message in this thread that I posted: "Okay, I pull up configure desktop on KDE and disable Power management, but it still seems to shut down the monitor after a given period when I reboot (it seems to hold during that session, at least for a while).Worse, when I move the mouse and the screen comes back on, the internet is disconnected, forcing a reboot." In other words: Yes I have looked in Power Management, both through Yast (which doesn't seem to have a disable power management function), and KDE (which does). Now, according to the KDE, which you find by right clicking on the wallpaper, going to configure desktop, clicking on "Display", and clicking on power control, Power Management is disabled, but when I reboot, and it's on, it will shut back down after a period. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
