I still want to do more testings: I'd like to try that driver in an older
distro like 9.3, that I still have installed in another partition. I have
the impression it will run faster. It's worth checking.

The worst thing is not that it is slow: in my system, it crashes too
easily.

More people are reporting similar problems in this list and elsewhere.

That's my impression, too. I know it is still supported, but I don't know
for how long.
