I have a Dell Latitude 120L, with 14" wide screen LCD, configured for 1280x800x32 on an Intel 915GM (i810 driver).
If I connect an external 17" standard LCD to the external VGA port, the monitor says that this mode is not supported.
Using SAX, I tried setting up a different resolution (1024x768) for it as it was in multi-monitor mode, but it still doesn't work at all.
Any tips?
Hi Mauricio, Tip 1: When you post, please identify which SUSE release you're discussing, e.g. '9.3' or '10.0' or '10.1', etc. Tip 2: please define (make/model/specs) of the external "standard LCD" Tip 3: please explain what you mean by "still doesn't work at all" (think error and log messages as well as describing problematic behaviors.) Tip 4: please try research through Google using phrases like 'SUSE Linux Dell Latitude 120L external display' and so on to see if your situation is already well documented on the web. hth & regards, Carl --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
