Hi, I am attempting to install a Intel 2200BG Pro wireless card on an IBM R52 Thinkpad (intel centrino 1.7 Mhz 512 Mb RAM) running on SUSE 10.1 I tried following the HOWTO from SUSEWiki I removed the instances of ieee80211.h and then installed the firmware and then ieee80211 subsystem. Then while attempting to install the ipw2200 driver, I encountered the following errors. What should I do now?
i don't know if this is enough, but at the very least you need to do the following
Edit the file ipw2200.c and go to line 11612, it looks like
ipw_debug_level = debug;
Add one line before and one line after, so it becomes
#ifdef CONFIG_IPW2200_DEBUG ipw_debug_level = debug; #endif
then try building it again
I did as you instructed and it complied without errors... I still need to check and test the connectivity to wifi network. That I can only do on Monday. Thanks a lot -- Puneit Singh 0091-9350832020
