I tried using the printermanager on the workstation. It prints the
"Printer Test Page" It makes a nice color wheel and 1 degree radial
lines et the top and text at the bottom. I can, from the settings in
the printermanager, see that it is a HP LaserJet 4L, running
CUPS+Gimp-Print v4.2.5 It is set for A4 printing, which is correct.
So i know that printing from workstation is functional. Also if i
testpage from the webinterface (printerserver:631 ) it also prints a
nice test page.
=======================
OK, so the printer works, CUPS works, now go to the configuration
for whichever program isn't working and configure it.
I had to tell some programs to use kprinter instead of the default
lp or lpd, some had to have the correct printer selected, etc.
Good luck,
Fred
