The easiest way is to use Yast to partition the drive and create a a
filesystem and mount point.
Or, you can use (in this order):
fdisk - to create partion(s) on that drive
mkfs.xxxx - to create a filesystem on that partition(s)
edit the fstab, to add mount points for the newly created partition(s)

Hi list;
I have a bay in my laptop for a 2nd hard drive. If I place a hard drive
there, how can I access / use it. (I assume I'll have to create a new
filesystem? )
Any guidance would be appreciated...
Thanks in advance
