Thanks... Not sure about the 2.6.18rc. But since udev-085 is giving me
problems on the desktop, I just wanted to see if a newer version would
work. But when the kind of warnings that they put in the readme I
definitely paws ;^) I can't afford to screw up my system....Yet ;^)
Once I get the Sierra Aircard 860 running on the desktop then the laptop
can go back to being a bleeding edge test system. Up grading the kernel
is the next step I guess, I just hate doing that once everything else
(vmware, changing serial_cs.c, etc) is set up and working... I usually
wait until there is an RPM that is a couple of versions past what I have
(e.g. 2.6.18 final rpm). Of well I guess I'll stop whining and do it
this weekend...
