That's a gross understatement.

Not fast here. It apparently picks sources on a random basis for random
files. It took over an hour to update a fresh install with it last night
because it chose to download a large number of files, including OO.o,
from ftp.suse.com, which was sporting a download speed a mere 2X that of
a 56K modem's maximum, about 1/100 the speed of the other sources.
