Ecasound for SuSE-10.1???

Till SuSE-8.2 I used Ecasound "Multitrack audio processing tools". Ideal
to convert from any format to another and to capture an audio signal
simultaneously as .wac or .cdr and .mp3 or .ogg files.
With SuSE-10.1, Ecasound disappeared. No more .rpm package!
Very difficult to compile manually the program because of dependencies
problems, I suppose.
Does anyone know where to find an rpm package of ecasound for
SuSE-10.1-x86_64?
Or another program that works, not Audacity that crashes irreversibly
(icon "null" and go to hell).
Of course there is Sox, oggenc, lame but ecasound was so easy to use. I
can of course return to Debian Sarge which is still aware that ecasound
exists.
