Hello Linux folkz, I've assembled a brand new system based on Gigabyte GA-M57SLI-S4 AM2 socket motherboard with Nvidia nForce 570 SLI chipset, 3800+ AMD 64 Athlon X2processor and 2GB DDR2 800 RAM. During initial hardware detection, package configuration and SATA hard drive formatting everything was OK. When YAST actually started to copy packages on the hard drive, the system suddenly rebooted on its own. I tried to do installation in safe mode specifying ide=nodma apm=off acpi=off noapic Result was the same - sudden reboot on a half way through the package installation. Just to eliminate possible hardware problems I installed Win XP without any problems. Now I'm running memory test and after three hours still no problems was detected. Could somebody please advise on how to install SuSE 10.1 on this system. Many thanks in advance, Alex
