Thanks for caring ;-) Is this a solution to the permissions problem, or are 
you "cooking" a solution without ivman? Anyway, please let know when you 
are done :-) 
If you want me to test your solution on our SuSE systems, feel free to
send me any (beta or whatever) version and I will check it out here
and give you some feedback!
