Hi Sorry if this is too much of a newbie question.
I've found the locations of the various mirrors, how do I point yast to one of them to download updates etc.? I've found most of the suse functions, its not so dissimilar to the mandriva releases, apart from some bit actually work !
TIA
Richard
Yast Control Centre/Software/Installation Source - add them here.
Cheers.
Thanks I've tried that and compared to mandriva , suse get nil points for being intuitive on what to enter for the server and the directory. Thanks also to Lennart who posted the wiki url, but that refers to the older version of yast. Example for the server I've entered anorien.csc.warwick.ac.uk/suse/ and the directory /update/10.1/rpm/ That fails and gets changed to suse//update/10.1/rpm/ take out one of the forward slashes and then get "unable to create installation source" maybe I've been spoilt by Mandriva's easy urpmi site, which is near idiot proof.. Could someone give an example of what should be entered in the server and directory space.
