Is there like a task manager application in SUSE to monitor processors and memory type things (Sorry to mention Windows..)
KSysGuard. GUI version. Ctrl+Esc gives you the running process list. From the main menu go to System, Monitor, KSysGuard and that'll also give you a graph monitor that you can customize.
htop. Non-GUI solution that isn't as resource intensive. Lists all running processes as well as give you a quick glimpse of over-all system usage.
Depending on how much information you want, you can also use something like SuperKaramba and use one of the dozens of desktop widgets... there's one that will show you the output of top... or many others that will show you things like CPU load, memory load, ethernet throughput etc etc etc. Or gtkrelm with also shows a grpahical overview of CPU load etc. C. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-help@opensuse.org
