It is probably dead busy paging and swapping. 128Mb is really on the

Yes, you can turn them off.

Nope.
I don't think any of this will make your system go much faster - for
Openoffice you simply need more RAM.

It is probably dead busy paging and swapping. 128Mb is really on the
low side, certainly when you're running Openoffice.

Yes, you can turn them off.

Nope.
I don't think any of this will make your system go much faster - for
Openoffice you simply need more RAM.
