Well you might be right there. I chose to use NetworkManager during the
install, and subsequently installed my speedtouch usb modem using
Network_Devices-->DSL in YAST. I still have to connect manually using ifup
dsl0 even though I chose Hotplug for startup. Whilst online, and clicking the
NetworkManager icon it shows "no network devices found". All this is under
SuSE10.1 oss and I must admit I don't know how the networkmanager is supposed
to work. The only config option seems to be for dial-up modems.
