Hi,
currently I have
kdebase3-3.5.3-3.6
the first part of the revision is the fourth 3 in the string? and the second
part is the 6?
I have an additional question:
Currently I try to automatically update with yast and have the normal Suse
updates, KDE3 and KDE3 backports activated. But the tool currently reports a
conflict:
kdebase3-SuSE-10.1-58.3 conflicts with kdebase3-3.5.3-3.6
kdebase3-SuSE-10.1-58 on the other hand does not conflict with kdebase3. I
know that kde3 backports and the updates do not support the new kde3 versions
but in my opinion it should be able to provide packages that do not conflict
between the three repositories.
Going back to kde 3.5.1 is not an option because some programms do not like
the config files written by their versions from kde 3.5.2 and higher. I made
this observation when I started kde from suse 10.1 after having used kde
3.5.2 on 9.3 for some time.
