You need to ugrade the kernel sources. after the kernel source is installed, switch to /usr.src/linux and run (as su): make cloneconfig make prepare. then run vmware-config.pl This has to be done after every kernel upgrade. d. On Saturday 03 June 2006 20:24, Erik Jakobsen wrote:
Hi.
I have updated my 10.0 system here, and after I got aware, that "Your kernel was built with "gcc" version "4.0.2", while you are trying to use "/usr/bin/gcc" version "4.0.3"".
That was the info when I ran vmware-config.pl.
What would be best now ?. Going back to gcc version 4.0.2 or what ?.
