I did it, but on 10.0 I was able to install hplip-0.9.11 and get full functionality of HP Device Manager. With 10.1 I get the following:

Is there RPM fo 0.9.11, it seems that I can only find 0.9.7 which does not support the fax or card reader. It also does not have the HP Device Mgr.
