I've just installed SuSE 10.0 on my dual-boot AMD Athlon box, but some bits don't appear to be working quite right. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated:
* Online update won't work. The error message is: "Cannot fetch remote server list ... Possible solution: Check network connection.
* The URL it's looking for is http://www.suse.de/cgi-bin/suseservers.cgi
* I tried pinging www.suse.de and it returned the ping just fine.
* Firefox won't work. Konqueror works with no problems, but Firefox just sits there saying (e.g.) "Waiting for www.google.com"
* Thunderbird won't work either, but I've some more config checks to do on that.
My internet connection is DSL via a router.
Any suggestions on these would be gratefully received.
Peter
