[SLE] Alternative way Installing "easy Install" using ez_setup.py

Hi list,...
i'd like to install "easy install" using ez_setup.py, but i'm behind
firewall so i can't download the setuptools egg directly (when ez_setup.py
was executed). I downloaded the egg file. Is there any option running
ez_setup.py without downloading the egg file? I didn't find the way at
http://peak.telecommunity.com/DevCenter/EasyInstall. Please help
