/usr/bin/firefox: line 159: 4324 Segmentation fault $AOSS $MOZ_PROGRAM $@
I was getting that, and traced it down (finally) to having installed the "Thin Keramik" KDE theme. Strange as it sounds, nothing I did fixed it (including blowing away my ~.mozilla tree) until I changed the window decorations to Keramik from ThinKeramik.
This might not be the EXACT issue you have, but I share the story with you to get you to check for stuff you might not normally expect. I found it by looking at ~/.xsession-errors and using strace.
Actually... that worked. That was the EXACT issue I was having. Changed over to Keramik... and whiz bang Firefox works. So... I guess next question is... is this officially a bug? In SUSE? In KDE? I've tried Googling on that particular SegFault and got nothing...
