Dear Listers
I am new on this list and I appreciate your taking the time to read my message over.
I own the PPC machine with 768MB of RAM mentioned in the Subject header. I am not well versed in the command line nor linux for that matter. That being said, my other macs all run OSX 10.4.6 which I feel very comfortable with.
I am not expecting anyone here to provide me a step by step outline on the installation process of SUSE on this mac model, but a good link on the subject for complete newbies like myself would be well appreciated.
Mac Specific question: Could I ask anyone on the list with the same hardware configuration, to please send me feedback comparing MacOSX Panther (v10.3) compares to SUSE in terms of overall performance.
I hope to hear back from someone regarding either the link or the testimonial, thanks.
