I'm setting up a web/data server at my company site using SUSE 10.1.
Thinking I'd be cool and ultra geeky, I setup the system wihout KDE or
GNOME.
In going through YAST (text mode) I realized I needed a few packages. I
went to install them. When asking for the discs, however, I was told to
insert 10.0 discs. I verified that the system was 10.1.
On an unrelated note, I'm behind a corporate firewall. I typically get
out to the internet using my proxy account. This usually comes up when I
launch Opera or any other browser. How do I get it to request my
username/password if I'm not using a browser?
