I am trying to use kdrc to connect to a windows remote desktop. I know the name of the server but I am still having problems. Is there a prefix I need to use? Like smb:// or rdc://
Try rdp://IP-ADDRESS-HERE First, make sure there isn't any other network-related problem. Check if you can telnet to that server on the RDP protocol port: telnet ip-address-of-server 3389 (which is the standard port). If you get something like "connection refused" or it stays on "Trying..." then you know there's a problem. If you get "Connected to...." everything should be fine.
