[SLE] Not able to boot into linux system

Hi,
I am newbie into Linux. let me explain my problem. I have installed
suse 10.1 as well as 10.0. and in both the cases while booting into
suse the computer power suddenly went off without any reporting.and i
am not able to get into the linux system. I am using a dual boot
system with Win XP. My laptop is HP DV5000tx. I am able to boot with
safe mode but not into the general mode. Not even with the Xen
options. Please help .
