You can use wget to pull the kde packages down the run the upgrade once you
have them all down .. if you have a decent connection it does not take long
at all ..
"man wget" if very usefull then it's just cd to the dir you dl'eed it all into
and rpm -vUh *rpm (thats assuming you are planning to use propper RPM files
and not the darn yum and god knows what other rubbish there is out there
now ..
